The Right Trac works very simply by tracking the path of the clubhead through the ball. Aim at the imprinted ball and swing, the pattern your club leaves on the mat will show your flaws. You will know exactly what to work on, no more guesswork. The mark can be brushed back with the club, and you are ready to try again.

There is only one way to hit the ball straight and correctly. Bring the club in just behind the ball, stay down and through, keep the clubhead moving in the direction of the target with the clubface square. It won't matter how you achieve this, the ball will go straight.

Below are examples of the most common flaws, you may have one of them, or a combination of more than one.

Outside to inside - usually results in a slice.

Inside to outside - usual result is a hook.

Coming down too far behind the ball - a fat shot, or if the ground is hard, skulled.

Coming down ahead of the ball - thin, skulled or topped shot.

Off the toe - standing too far away from the ball, loss of distance.

Off the heel - standing too close to the ball, loss of distance.

A 'v' swing - sharply lifting the club up and down again, perfect, only in deep rough.
